Infrared PSD3-D detectors are designed for the rapid detection of heat sources such as sparks, glowing particles, or flames in air ducts and conveying systems.

They detect hot particles that emit in the wavelength range of 780–1100 nm.

It is recommended to install the detector so that its front side faces a dark or partially dark area.
