Flameless venting
VIGIFLAM VQ is a rectangular flameless device connected to the internal standard rupture panel of VIGILEX.
It can be used effectively both indoors and outdoors, providing a quick and simple solution compared to bulky and expensive outdoor pipe installation systems.
VIGIFLAM VQ offers efficient resistance to low pressure, preventing the spread of flames and hot particles. At the early stage of an explosion, the rupture hole opens. The flame, along with burnt and unburned dust, enters the fire extinguisher. The spread of the flame beyond the VQ is prevented by energy dissipation in the filter element, lowering the combustion temperature of the fuel below its ignition point.
Dust is contained within the VQ, and explosion gases are vented through the device into the external atmosphere around the unit.
