VENTEX® Isolation Valve

Ventex explosion isolation valves prevent propagation of dust explosions by blocking the shock wave and flame front. Ventex valves are passive valves meaning they will close without requiring any external energy input. Ventex valves are suitable for low dust load process streams containing up to max. 50 g.m-3 of dust and are typically used to protect dryers, mills, filters, cyclones, etc.

In the event of an explosion, the Ventex valve closes instantly, isolating the flame front and blast wave, thereby preventing the explosion from spreading through the pipeline. Valves can be installed horizontally or vertically, are easy to maintain, and can be quickly reset after activation.
