Test device - ReConn01

The Safe-Ground ReConn01 test device is a device designed to check Safe-Ground earthing and bonding systems for proper operation. The Safe-Ground earthing systems carry out resistive and capacitive measurements to guarantee a good earthing of the desired object.

The ReConn01 is a passive device that does not generate voltage or store energy without connecting a earthing clamp. It is therefore suitable for use in an ATEX environment.

  • The ReConn01 contact point consists of two conductive parts separated by an insulator.
  • By connecting a Safe-Ground series grounding rod, both resistive and capacitive system operation can be tested (e.g., TES01 for trucks).

Equipped with two selector knobs:

  • for capacitive control
  • for resistive measurement
  • By turning the knobs from minimum to maximum positions, the user checks the threshold values of Safe-Ground control units.
  • ReConn01 is a passive device that does not generate voltage or store energy without a connected rod.
  • This makes it safe for use in ATEX zones.
