S604

When working with non-conductive liquids and powders, electrostatic charges accumulate on conductive objects, such as:

  • Metal drums
  • Filling pipelines
  • Road tankers
  • Rail tank wagons
  • FIBC (big bag) containers

These charges are hazardous because they can cause spark discharges. In explosive atmospheres, this may lead to ignition or explosion. The S604 equipment provides reliable grounding of these objects and safe dissipation of static electricity.

Advantages:

The system consist of a control unit, an earth clamp and optionally a cable reel.

  • Monitoring the quality of the clamp connection 
  • Recognition of the object to be earthed 
  • Connection of the object to earth. Since the static electricity is safely discharged through the control unit, no sparks are generated at the clamp
  • Potential free contact for the release of the loading and unloading functions

Resistive system S604

  • Detects low current resistance through a metal object or stationary installation.
  • Suitable for a wide range of applications: drums, carts, rail wagons, and other conductive structures.
  • Eliminates risks of missing or poor-quality grounding.

Conductive system S804

  • Designed for working with FIBC type C containers (big bags).
  • Responds only to big bags, verifying their conductivity.
  • Ensures the bag meets safety requirements (especially when reused).
  • Use of two clamps allows checking conductivity through the entire bag.
