When working with mobile objects (trucks, drums, big bags), a common issue arises: grounding connections are made unreliably or are forgotten altogether.
Using only simple indicator lamps does not guarantee safety.

Continuous grounding control is required to avoid spark discharges.

Advantages:

The ATEX certified Earthing Control S804 consists of a control unit, an earth clamp and a cable or cable reel. 

Conforms to IEC/TS 6007932-1:2013.

  • Monitoring the quality of the clamp connection
  • Recognition of the object to be earthed
  • Connection of the object to earth. Since the static electricity is safely discharged through the control unit, no sparks are generated at the clamp
  • Potential free contact for the release of the loading and unloading functions
  • Status indication lights

  • Detects conductivity of type C big bags
  • The system “recognizes” the big bag itself, not an unrelated object
  • Conductivity monitoring confirms that the big bag meets safety requirements (especially when reused)
  • When two clamps are used, conductivity is checked through the entire big bag material
