A single faulty battery cell is enough to trigger a thermal runaway, which can lead to either a highly complex fire or an explosion. Fire suppression systems typically installed in BESS are not sufficiently effective in protecting against thermal runaway. Several expert reports clearly demonstrate this. It is essential to have the capability to "vent" energy storage systems when combustible gas is detected or in the event of a potential explosion. VENTING BY GAS DETECTION

An effective way to mitigate the risks of thermal runaway is early detection of gases released by faulty batteries using advanced gas sensors.

Our DUAL-VENT system responds by automatically opening to safely release these gases, significantly lowering the chances of fire or explosion.

Once ventilation is complete, the DUAL-VENT can automatically close, restoring system integrity and maintaining protection.

VENTING AFTER EXPLOSION

If a thermal runaway escalates uncontrollably into an explosion, the DUAL-VENT system, engineered for dynamic response and equipped with a certified pressure relief mechanism, will activate automatically to release excess pressure and mitigate damage.
