On July 2, 2025, in Washington, D.C., the international conference U-Nation: Innovations to Rebuild Ukraine took place, organized with the participation of the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). The event gathered over 50 guests — entrepreneurs, experts, investors, and representatives of civic initiatives. The main focus was on solutions that help Ukraine restore its economy, infrastructure, and industry.
One of the central topics of the conference was the resilience of Ukrainian business in wartime conditions. Among the invited speakers was STIF Eastern Europe CEO Yaroslava Moskalenko, who shared the company’s experience of full relocation and subsequent restart.

Relocation as a New Beginning
With the start of the full-scale invasion, Kharkiv — the city where the company was originally based — found itself in an active combat zone. Continuing production became impossible. However, the STIF Eastern Europe team made a clear decision: not to stop, but to adapt.
We didn’t just move equipment. We moved responsibility, values, and the trust of our clients. We began recovery from scratch — in a new city, in new conditions, but with the same team and the same belief in our mission. And today, we are working, growing, and ready to share this experience.
A Frank Talk About Challenges
As part of a thematic session focused on industrial enterprises, STIF Eastern Europe presented its case — from relocation to a full launch during wartime. Key highlights of the speech included:
- Logistical difficulties during equipment evacuation;
- Challenges of energy instability;
- Restoring production processes under constant uncertainty;
- Maintaining product quality and partner trust;
- The role of technology and flexibility in rapid adaptation.
According to official statistics, since the beginning of the full-scale war, over 19,000 enterprises have changed their place of registration. But STIF Eastern Europe is not just one of them. We are an example of how to approach a challenge systematically and turn it into an opportunity. Ukraine’s economic recovery starts with those who are already relaunching production, investing in technology, and creating jobs. That’s what we do — and we are not stopping.

Participation in Global Dialogue — A Powerful Signal
STIF Eastern Europe’s participation in the U-Nation platform was not only an opportunity to share experience, but also to present Ukraine as a partner capable of decisive action, even under wartime conditions. These are the kinds of examples that build international trust in Ukrainian business and open new avenues for cooperation.
We are grateful to the conference organizers for the opportunity to be heard, for their openness to dialogue, and for supporting Ukraine. For us, this is not just a one-day event, but a step towards deeper partnerships and greater involvement in rebuilding the country.
