The Ukraine Agro Summit is an annual event that brings together leading professionals in the agricultural sector to discuss current issues, exchange experiences, and present the latest technologies. In 2024, the summit was held on February 2 in Kyiv, covering topics related to grain drying and storage technologies, which are critically important given today’s challenges.
Ukraine Agro Summit 2024 once again confirmed that Ukrainian manufacturers are capable of adapting to challenging conditions and effectively implementing advanced technologies. Despite all difficulties, the domestic agricultural sector demonstrates stability and resilience, which form the foundation for further development.
State of Ukraine’s Agricultural Sector in 2023
Despite challenges, Ukraine’s agricultural sector demonstrated significant results in 2023, showcasing its adaptability to difficult conditions. According to the National Institute for Strategic Studies niss.gov.ua as of the end of December 2023, Ukrainian farmers harvested 79.2 million tons of crops, including 58.4 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, as well as 20.8 million tons of oilseeds. At the same time, agricultural exports remained a key source of foreign currency revenue for the country, ensuring economic stability. Official statistics indicate that corn, wheat, and sunflower oil had the highest export potential, forming the core of the country’s agricultural exports. Additionally, the restoration of logistical routes through Danube ports and the expansion of railway shipments to the EU contributed to the steady growth of trade even amid global crises.
These indicators highlight the high potential and resilience of Ukraine’s agricultural sector, which serves as a foundation for further growth.
We thank everyone who visited our booth at Ukraine Agro Summit 2024. We look forward to fruitful cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in the future.
