Safety Starts Before an Emergency: STIF Eastern Europe at U-Nation Conference 2026

On 24 June 2026, U-Nation Conference 2026 took place in Gdańsk, Poland. The international event brought together business leaders, industrial companies, investors, and international organizations to discuss Ukraine's recovery, industrial development, innovation, and international cooperation.

STIF Eastern Europe was proud to contribute to the conference. Yaroslava Moskalenko, Director of STIF Eastern Europe, delivered a presentation entitled "Industrial Fire & Explosion Safety in Modern Manufacturing", focusing on modern approaches to preventing industrial fires and combustible dust explosions.

Industrial Safety as a Foundation of Modern Manufacturing

When discussing industrial modernization, the conversation often focuses on new equipment, automation, and investment. However, the true foundation of efficient manufacturing lies in ensuring the safety of people, production processes, and industrial assets.

During her presentation, Yaroslava Moskalenko emphasized that modern manufacturers are increasingly shifting from emergency response to proactive risk management. This approach enables companies to identify potential hazards before they develop into critical incidents, ensuring operational continuity while protecting both personnel and investments.

Ukraine's industrial recovery must be built not only on modern technologies but also on the highest safety standards. Today, investing in production safety means investing in business resilience, operational continuity, and the protection of people.

A Comprehensive Approach to Industrial Protection

The presentation showcased an integrated approach to industrial safety, combining advanced technologies for:

  • early hazard detection;
  • active fire suppression and spark extinguishing with StuvEx solutions;
  • explosion venting, explosion isolation, and process equipment protection using Vigilex technologies.

Implementing these solutions as a comprehensive safety system enables industrial facilities not only to comply with international safety standards but also to significantly reduce operational risks, minimize downtime, and ensure business continuity.

Practical Experience from Ukrainian Industry

One of the highlights of the presentation was a real-life Ukrainian case study demonstrating the successful application of the Vigilex explosion protection system. The example illustrated how properly designed explosion protection solutions helped contain the consequences of an emergency, preserve critical equipment, and minimize production losses.

The case once again confirmed that modern industrial safety systems are far more than regulatory compliance—they are a strategic investment in operational resilience, protecting personnel, production assets, and the continuity of manufacturing processes.

 Sharing Expertise for a Safer Industrial Future

Participation in U-Nation Conference 2026 provided STIF Eastern Europe with an opportunity to share practical expertise in industrial fire and explosion protection, exchange knowledge with the international professional community, and contribute to the development of modern safety practices that support the sustainable growth of Ukrainian industry.

We sincerely thank the conference organizers for the opportunity to be part of this important dialogue and to present practical Ukrainian experience in implementing advanced industrial safety solutions.
