STIF Eastern Europe has been selected as one of 12 Ukrainian enterprises to receive grant funding and consulting support under the prestigious EU4Business https://eu4business.org.ua/ program! This victory unlocks new opportunities for us to expand, scale our business, and strengthen our presence in the European market.
190 Applications – and We Are Among the Best!
A total of 190 Ukrainian companies from various economic sectors applied for the program. Businesses striving to implement innovations and expand internationally underwent a rigorous selection process. Only 12 companies were awarded grant support, and STIF Eastern Europe is proud to be among them!
Grants of up to €40,000 each are provided under the EU4Business: Recovery, Competitiveness, and Internationalization of SMEs program, co-financed by the European Union and the German government. The grant program is implemented by GIZ Ukraine https://www.giz.de/en/worldwide/32413.html
The program runs from August 2024 to March 2025, and we are already actively working on its implementation!
What Will We Implement with the Grant?
The funding will enable us to execute key initiatives to strengthen our position in the international market:
- Market research and development of an export strategy to facilitate a successful entry into EU markets, particularly Hungary and Romania.
- Integration into the international B2B platform EUROPAGES to attract new business partners.
- Adaptation of our website for international markets – a multilingual version (English, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak) will enhance accessibility for European clients.
- Expansion of production capacity – launching a new production line and manufacturing a new bucket elevator model to meet the demand of European partners.
- Participation in the AGROMASHEXPO international exhibition in Budapest – a key opportunity to establish global connections and showcase our products.
- Expert consultations and mentorship – receiving professional guidance to ensure our products meet EU market requirements.
How Will This Impact Our Business?
- Expanded export opportunities – entering the markets of Hungary, Romania, and other EU countries.
- Stronger international partnerships – participating in exhibitions and B2B platforms to establish valuable business connections.
- Enhanced competitiveness – improving production, expanding our product range, and ensuring certification to European standards.
- Optimized marketing strategy – an updated website and digital marketing efforts will drive sales growth.
The project is supported by the European Union and the German government, with GIZ Ukraine serving as the strategic implementer. The implementing partner of the program is the Civil Society Organization "Global Compact Network Ukraine", which helps Ukrainian businesses adopt international sustainability standards.
