Participation in the "Export Accelerator" Program: Strategy, Consultations, and New Opportunities for Entering International Markets

Our team at STIF Eastern Europe has joined the grant program "Export Accelerator: From Plan to Action," implemented by Civitta with the support of EU4Business, the European Union, and GIZ.
This initiative has become a valuable source of practical knowledge, professional contacts, and concrete tools for strengthening our export strategy.

Consultations on International Logistics — The Value of Practice

One of the most valuable experiences was the individual consultation with Anatoliy Myshelov, an expert in international logistics and a representative of KM Logistics.
Instead of abstract theory, we received real-world case studies, practical solutions, and actionable insights that helped us view exporting not just as a process, but as a tool for strategic growth.

This was not merely a theoretical discussion — it was hands-on work on optimizing our export processes, including:

  • Building efficient logistics routes for supplying goods to EU countries;
  • Identifying critical documents for smooth customs clearance;
  • Selecting the right logistics partners for different categories of goods;
  • Recognizing common risks and developing strategies to minimize them at each stage of transportation;
  • Receiving specific recommendations for drafting export contracts that comply with European market requirements.

It was not just a consultation but a concentration of solutions. We received clear answers to our questions and, more importantly, a new perspective on international logistics as a strategic advantage. Working with Mr. Myshelov is all about practice that truly works.

Networking and Matchmaking — A Pathway to EU Markets

The program also featured a series of matchmaking sessions with representatives of European chambers of commerce and organizations supporting Ukrainian exporters.
Key meetings included:

  • Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce;
  • Swedish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce;
  • Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) — a platform for partner search and financial support;
  • Trade House Ukraine (Latvia) — focused on establishing B2B connections with EU distributors;
  • Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce — insights into exporting to Scandinavia;
  • Italian Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine — strategies for entering the Italian market;
  • Ukrainian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, Cologne Chamber of Commerce Slovenian Regional Development Agency — establishing new business connections.

Each session provided practical insights, opportunities for collaboration, and valuable contacts for future international expansion.

Why This Matters?

Participation in the program is not just about learning or receiving support.
It is a true investment in our company's export capacity, a strategic foundation for market expansion, and an opportunity to become part of Ukraine's economic integration with the EU.

Through this program, we have gained:

  • Personalized consultations with industry-leading experts;
  • Group workshops focused on solving real-world challenges;
  • Connections with representatives of European chambers of commerce;
  • Opportunities to find partners and adapt logistics operations to EU market requirements;
  • A solid foundation for building a sustainable, long-term export strategy.
